Alexander hat vor zwei Wochen eine Raupe gefunden und anstatt sie wie gewohnt an unsere Aquariumfische zu verfüttern, hat er ihr ein neues Wohnplätzchen geschaffen ... täglich wurde die Einlage aus Küchenrolle gewechselt, angefeuchtet und frische Blätter reingelegt .. und siehe da, die Raupe wuchs um mehr als das Doppelte :)

Two weeks ago Alexander found a little inchworm .. and instead of feeding the fishes in our aquarium like we always do, he built a little home for her ... daily the inchworm got a new kitchen towel, imbued with water, and daily he got fresh leafs ... and we were able to see the inchworm growing and growing ...



Tja, und heute hat er sie wieder besucht - und was war? Sie hat begonnen sich zu verpuppen. Die Freude und Faszination ist groß, und nun wird gerätselt und überlegt, was wohl daraus wird??? ein Schmetterling? Ein Nachtfalter? .... ?
Today Alexander took a look at her - and guess what? The inchworm started pupating :-) pleasure and fascination are big, and now he´s deliberation what this will be soon? a butterfly? a moth? ... ?
